HISTORY
Margrace tell tales of women in the shape of monstrous spiders. These arachnidian creatures are believed to hail from the great marsh of Iracomté. It is said that they are female Margrace twisted by the influence of the Anomaly there.

Disappearances in nature are often attributed to Narakhin. They are said to capture travellers in their webs and keep them to fertilize their eggs and then devour their flesh. Many believe they enter Silken Vaults and steal cocoons hosting the corporeal bodies of live Margrace, keeping them as prisoners.

These are merely legends and hushed rumours. Yet the truth about the Narakhin race is unknown, even to themselves. All Narakhin know nothing of their past, of who they were before serving the Witch, or where they came from. While many are content with their life in the Coven, others seek answers to such mysteries. Why are all Narakhin women? How are new Narakhin born? How does the curse spread? Why is the Witch in control?

Unfortunately, those that end up digging too deep are never seen again.

CHARACTERISTICS
Victims of a terrible curse, the Narakhin are spider-like in nature. Their extra limbs merge into their flesh and bones, only to appear when needed. However, they still have very monstrous parts about them. A mouth slit from ear to ear that separates horizontally at the chin. Chelicera dripping with venom jut out from their pallid, porcelain cheeks. Large eyes with double irises look horrendously uncanny. Their face transfixed in a single, expressionless, vacant stare as if they were wearing a mask. Their fingers look like spider legs topped with long, needle-like nails. Too many joints everywhere. And a large spider abdomen trailing behind, complete with protuberant spinnerets.

Most people are afraid of spiders. Some people are afraid of porcelain dolls. The Narakhin combine both of these fears into a nightmarish package.

CLOTHING
Large black dresses and shiny leather are the norm. Narakhin try to conceal their accursed form under elaborate costumes. Shiny black leather match their exoskeleton, making it appear less inhuman. An immense poofy skirt drapes over their enlarged abdomen. Pointed, clawed feet may be passed as novelty boots. Long, needle-like fingers may be passed as statement gloves. Many Narakhin also paint normal-looking human eyes on their eyelids to trick people.

Eight Limbs
While all your extra limbs are concealed within your flesh, you can extend them at will. You can have a total of 8 arms and 8 legs concurrently. Your spider limbs crack out of your flesh with a loud bone-snapping noise and cause some superficial bleeding. While this deals no damage to yourself, it may alert others and will definitely freak people out.

Silk Weaver
You produce extremely resistant silk. You can use said silk to aid your party or to trap enemies. You can use it to negate fall damage on yourself or an ally. Your needle-like fingers are adept at sewing. You can easily patch up cloth and leather armour as well as mend wounds with stitches.

Wall Crawler
With your eight clawed legs, you can easily scale even the smoothest surfaces like glass. Steep angles and ceilings are not off-limit for you.

Paralyzing Venom
A successful bite is guaranteed to paralyze the victim for up to 5 turns unless they are immune to Toxin.

Witch Web
Whether you hopelessly love her or you despise her from the bottom of your heart, you are intrinsically linked to the Witch of Iracomté and cannot escape her will. Once per day, you can contact her mentally to ask a question or request a hint. She may occasionally send you on personal missions. Whether you dutifully serve her will or seek to be free of her influence is up to you.

Women Only
All Narakhin are female. Even if you are a man, you present and pass as a woman, keeping your gender even more secret than your accursed nature.

Cursed Destiny
You do not remember your past and your future is equally obscured. A Seer has no power over you. While this can be advantageous when the enemy team as a Seer in its ranks, it also means that a Seer ally cannot help you. If you are a Seer, you cannot foresee anything for yourself or any other Narakhin.

Monstrous Spider
Some spider parts of your body cannot be concealed within. These are your chelicerae and your abdomen. Long hair can somewhat hide the chelicerae and a large dress can cover the abdomen part, still making it seem like you are wearing the world's most extravagant petitcoat underneath.

Arachnophobia
Whenever you unfurl any of your Eight Limbs or reveal your spider parts, members of your party (except Narakhin and Baronet) who witness the event lose your LVL+2 in SAN.
