Magic : Fire


It burns your hands to old this heavy, smouldering grimoire. Yet such pain could not deter you from the addictive rush of pure power that lies within its brimstone-scented pages. All shall be cleansed with fire.

An adept of Fire magic is called a Pyromancer.
Fire magic deals Heat damage and may inflict the Burn debuff.
Burn : magic debuff. Afflict your target with a nasty burn, reducing their speed by 50% and their max HP by 25%. Every turn, they take 5x their LVL in Heat dmg.


BASIC SPELLS
Starting at LVL5 any attack that deals Heat dmg has a 10% chance to Burn.

Fireball
Spell LVL1. Hurl a conjured projectile of flame towards your target causing ATU in Heat dmg.

Smoke
Debuff LVL2. Blow a cloud of smoke towards enemies, reducing their accuracy by 20%.

Cauterize
Cure LVL2. Stop Bleed on target at the cost of their LVL in Heat dmg.

Flame Wreath
Spell LVL3. Surround enemies with a circle of flame 1m tall. Any enemy who cannot or fail to jump over the fire will suffer LVLxATU Heat dmg.

Hot Whip
Spell LVL4.

Burn
Magic debuff LVL5. Afflict your target with a nasty burn, reducing their speed by 50% and their max HP by 25%. Every turn, they take 2x their LVL in Heat dmg.

Conflagration
Spell LVL6.

Ignition
Spell LVL7. Set up for Combust. Stoke the flame within, heating up for a devastating attack. You can spend a maximum of 5 turns on Ignition.

Combustion
Spell LVL7. Requires Ignition to be set up the previous turn. Explode into roaring flames, dealing 3xATU Heat dmg to everyone within 10m of you.

Immolation
Spell LVL8. Set your enemy ablaze with your mind, inflicting ATUxLVL Heat damage. Guaranteed to Burn.

Salamander
Conjuration LVL9. Summon a salamander minion under your command for 5 turns. The salamander can be commanded to attack an enemy for ATU+3 Heat dmg and has a 30% more chance to Burn. Commanding the salamander is a free action.

PASSIVE SKILLS

Unlocks at LVL5
You can only pick 1

Molten Skin
Aura+Buff. You are inhabited by the very essence of flame. Enemies within 5m of you will suffer 10 Heat dmg every turn. Melee attacker will be afflicted by Burn. Combustion now has a x4 modifier.

Pyroarm
Buff. Any weapon is now permanently enchanted with Fire whenever you wield it. Add your LVL in Heat dmg every time you strike with that weapon.

ULTIMATE SPELLS
Unlocks at LVL10

Lava Gout
You shoot out a wave of molten lava towards enemies dealing 1D4x100 Heat dmg to all caught in the wave's path.

Dragonbreath


Thermonuclear Bomb
Instakill. Explode a 10x10m area, leaving nothing behind but a smouldering crater. All non-boss enemies caught in the detonation will die. Bosses will take 100xATU Heat dmg.

ULTIMATE PASSIVE SKILLS
Unlocks at LVL10

Tempered
Immunity. Lava no longer damages you (lava is not a liquid, you cannot swim in it). Your body runs so hot that Disease and Toxin get instantly denatured, making you immune. You also become immune to all water/ice attacks and debuffs. You are no longer affected by cold temperatures.

Phoenix Rise
Cheat death. After taking fatal damage, you will return to life. You can wait more than 1 turn to be more refreshed. 1 turn = 25% HP, MP, STAM. 4 turns = 100% HP, MP, STAM. This effect can only trigger once per long rest.

COMBINATION SPELLS
Conjurers can join forces together to combine their spells to devastating effects. They can also receive aid from adepts of Communion magic (life, death, blood) for truly unique spells. These spells only become available at LVL10 and can only be cast once per long rest.

Fire + Fire = Disintegrate
Instakill with splash dmg. Shoot a beam of pure plasma at a non-boss enemy, instantly vaporizing them. Anyone within 5m of that enemy will suffer 20 Heat dmg. Bosses will take ATUx100 Heat dmg.

Fire + Earth = Eruption
Instakill with splash dmg. Lava bursts forth from the ground. All within 5m of the epicentre instantly die, others nearby take 1D10x5 Heat dmg.

Fire + Water = Frostfire Lahar
Spell. A wave of ice and a wave of lava crash into each other. All enemies suffer 2D10x15 Cold and Heat dmg.

Fire + Wind = Incandescent Tempest

Fire + Life = Cleansing Flame
Cure. Remove all Curse, Toxin, Disease, Bleed, Frostbite at the cost of their LVL in Heat dmg to the target. Can also be used to burn Unholy creatures for 50% of their max HP in Holy damage.

Fire + Death = Funeral Pyre

Fire + Blood = Boiling Innards

Fire + Cosmic = Solar Flare
